Suggested applications and ideas to help you plan your project: use this trim as a saree border or sari border trim to refresh an existing drape, add decorative trim to table linens and bedding, or sew it as a costume trim along seams and cuffs for theatrical or period garments. Embellish tote bags or pouches, create hair accessories and bows, or use strips of ribbon for festive wreaths and holiday ornaments. Layer trims of different widths to create depth and texture, or stitch multiple rows for a bold border on cushions or duvet covers.
Weigh design details such as thread color contrast and base fabric weight when combining this trim with other fabrics; viscose dupioni has a subtle textured sheen that complements both matte and glossy materials. For embroidery and appliqué projects, pin trim in place and baste before final stitching to ensure even placement along curves and hems.
