Ideas and tips for working with this embroidered trim: sew it along the edges of tablecloths or napkins to create a coordinated holiday table; add a strip to the hem of a dress or the pocket of a jacket for instant seasonal detail; use short lengths to wrap gifts or to make festive hair accessories and bag trims. Try layering this embroidered ribbon with thinner trims or piping for added texture, or combine it with other indian trims and sari border trim pieces for a richer, handcrafted effect. Because the product is a fabric trim rather than a finished accessory, stitching techniques will determine how it sits on your project—topstitch for a flat finish or hand-sew in small running stitches for a decorative, slightly raised look.

Materials and care suggestions based on the fabric described: viscose base with embroidery. When incorporating into sewn items, pre-test stitches on a scrap to confirm needle and tension settings. If adding to items that will see regular laundering, secure ends and finish raw edges inside seams or with a narrow hem to prevent fraying.

Who this trim works well for: makers of holiday décor, theatrical costume designers, home sewists updating bedding or cushions, and anyone looking for decorative trim to personalize gifts and seasonal craft projects. Tags that describe common uses include embroidered trim, fabric trim, trims and ribbons, embroidery ribbons and christmas decoration.
