Using embroidered trim can elevate the edges of linens and tablecloths, add a refined border to cushion covers and bedding, or become the focal detail on collars, cuffs and jacket seams. This trim is well suited to costume work and historical recreations: add it to reticules, clutches and period-accurate bags for authentic-looking projects. Crafters also use embroidered ribbon to edge handmade journals and scrapbook pages, or to create decorative hair accessories and bespoke gift wrapping. For layered looks, combine this trim with other widths and textures—its multicolor embroidery lets it coordinate with a wide palette.

Care and handling tip: as this trim is embroidered on a viscose dupioni base, gentle hand-sewing and careful pressing on a low-heat setting are recommended to preserve the stitches and fabric sheen; always test a small scrap before applying heat or heavy machine washing. If you plan to wash a finished piece, consider spot-cleaning or gentle hand wash methods appropriate to the base fabric and the item you are embellishing.
